Sheet prices continue to rise in US market
Prices for sheet in the US market rose by another $100-150/short ton this week as raw material costs soar.
Hot rolled coil pricing is now up to $1,350-1,400/st, ex-works mill, with lead times moving out by a week to 6-7 weeks. Base prices for cold rolled coil and HDG also moved up, by $150/st from last week, to $1,800-1,900/st.
