Shougang profits decline in third quarter

Shougang’s third-quarter operating revenue was higher than the last year, but profits still fell, according to the Chinese steelmaker’s recent report monitored by Kallanish. The company sold 4.3 million tonnes of finished steel in the third quarter, realising profit of CNY 81/tonne ($11.5/t) on average.
