Southeast Europe steel output decreases in 2023

Southeast Europe (SEE) crude steel production fell in 2023, according to the latest worldsteel data monitored by Kallanish. Regional output amounted to 5.68 million tonnes, down by 38.6% year-on-year. In 2022, SEE output was 7.38mt, down by 34.7% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
