Stainless surcharges to move up in June
US stainless surcharges are set to rise in June, Kallanish learns from producer price lists.
The surcharge for type 304 austenitic stainless coil will increase from about $0.34/lb to $0.36/lb. Likewise, the surcharge for type 316 coil will rise from $0.43/lb to $0.49/lb.
