AMNS India signs Maharashtra green steel plant agreement
The Indian state of Maharashtra’s government has signed a memorandum of understanding with steelmaker ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India to set up a green steel plant in Maharashtra, notes Kallanish.
The Maharashtra state government says the plant will have an investment of INR 400 billion ($4.81 billion) and will help create 20,000 jobs in the state.
