Steel futures climb to two-week highs
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures kept rising on Tuesday to reach two-week highs, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded May 2024 rebar contract closed at CNY 3,534/tonne ($489/t) on Tuesday, up CNY 37/t on the prior trading day, 3 April. The same contract for HRC gained CNY 35/t to CNY 3,800/t.
