Steel price surges into third week on inventories
Chinese steel futures prices dropped sharply at the start of trading on Monday but then steadily recovered through the day to close up again. Steel market inventories, meanwhile, have continued to decline, giving traders an opportunity to talk up prices, Kallanish notes.
