Chinese steel prices surge, Wugang hikes list prices
Chinese steel futures prices shook off their uncertainty and began to increase steadily overnight and through Tuesday’s trading, with the rebar contract returning to its highest point since early September. Wuhan Iron and Steel (Wugang) also hiked its November list prices but the sustainability of the increases remain uncertain, Kallanish notes.
