Chinese steelmakers arrange maintenance for HRC/rod mills
As steel mills' inventories are stable with less pressure on associated market supply, more Chinese producers are choosing to overhaul HRC and wire rod mills in August. Around 250,000 tonnes of HRC output and 360,000t of wire rod output are estimated to be affected, Kallanish notes.
