Taiwanese scrap rebounds with fewer offers

Taiwan's scrap import market has picked up slightly this week, but supplier activity has declined as buyers' market prices disappoint sellers. Kallanish assessed HMS 1&2 80:20 container scrap at $355/t cfr Taiwan, up by $5/t from last week. Containerised US-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 scrap is offered at $360-365/t cfr Taiwan this week, and indicative deal price level is at $355-358/t cfr.
