Ternium observes LatAm steel consumption increase in 2018
Latin American miner and steel producer Ternium says apparent steel consumption has improved in most of the Latin American countries in which it operates.
The steelmaker anticipates a new record operating profit for its Mexican unit last year, but does not provide production details in its latest investors’ presentation seen by Kallanish. Ternium will release its full-year annual report after market close on 19 February.
