Ternium Mexico inaugurates new environmental investment
Steelmaker Ternium has inaugurated a new smoke and dust suction system at its San Miguel Xoxtla steel plant in the Mexican region of Puebla. This is aimed at further reducing emissions from the site, the company says.
The new equipment has been installed following an investment of $28.5 million, Kallanish notes. It is considered to be one of the most efficient and advanced in terms of environmental impact in Latin America, the company says.
