Ternium highlights tough second quarter, expects Ebitda fall
Latin American miner and steel producer Ternium saw its shipments flatten year-on-year in the second quarter of 2019, while earnings decreased in the period, Kallanish learns from the company's Q2 operating report. Ternium expects Ebitda to lower in the third quarter on Q2 2019 due to lower margins and shipments. The company anticipates steel shipments in Mexico however to gradually recover during the second half of 2019.
