Ternium turns to RNG to reduce energy costs
Latin American steelmaker Ternium will significantly reduce its energy costs by using renewable natural gas (RNG) at its Santa Cruz slab production plant in Brazil, Kallanish learns from the company.
The steelmaker signed an agreement for the supply of biogas with the Seropédica landfill, a local fuel provider which uses solid waste for the process.
