Ternium defines its strategy to deal with Covid-19
Latin American miner and steel producer Ternium is optimising its production and costs, while reducing general expenses and extraordinary maintenance work. This was confirmed by the chief executive Maximo Vedoya in a conference call monitored by Kallanish. The company is also lowering its purchases of raw material and third-party steel to minimise inventory build-ups as result of the Covid-19 impact.
