Tisco plans blast furnace overhaul in mid-June

Taiyuan Iron & Steel in Shanxi province is preparing to halt one 4,350-cubic metre blast furnace for refurbishment, Kallanish notes. The blast furnace will be temporarily shut down on 16 June and the refurbishment is estimated to last 97 days. Iron output may be impacted by around 960,000 tonnes.
