Tsingshan to revive Eramet’s Weda Bay nickel project
China’s Tsingshan Group has signed a preliminary agreement with French nickel maker Eramet to take a controlling stake in its stalled Weda Bay ferronickel project in Indonesia and resume development. The project will switch to an established process and could be boosted by recovering nickel prices, Kallanish notes.
