Turkey’s October rod exports recover amid EU demand
Following their September slump, Turkish wire rod exports recovered in October. They rose 45.1% on-year to 101,573 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were also up from 74,008t in August and 54,568t in September.
Their average price was $587/tonne, versus $689/t in October 2022 and $585/t in September 2023.
