Turkish domestic, premium scrap jumps; busheling premium widens
Turkish mills have increased domestic scrap buying prices sharply since last week due to the continued increase in imported scrap prices, Kallanish notes.
The imported scrap market, however, is seen to have slowed on Wednesday, with mills showing reduced interest in offers.
One Baltic and one US supplier are heard offering HMS 1&2 80:20 at $660/tonne cfr Turkey, while European suppliers are offering the same grade at $650-660/t cfr. …
