Turkish merchant bar producers struggle amid unfavourable market
Turkish merchant bar producers struggled to maintain their prices due to insufficient demand and tough competition, although billet prices improved last week.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $610-635/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections, unchanged from last week.
