UAE's Emirates Steel elevates domestic rebar quotes
United Arab Emirates' leading long steel producer, Emirates Steel, has elevated its domestic rebar (BS4449:2005 grade GR500B) prices for January delivery by AED 92/tonne ($25) on December to AED 2,680/t ($730) ex-works theoretical weight, as expected, notes Kallanish.
Its new quotes delivered to customers in Abu Dhabi are at AED 2,687/t ($732), while to Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain and the Northern Emirates they are at AED 2,695/t ($734) cpt.
