Ukraine pipemakers increase production, fret over scrap shortages
Ukraine’s pipe enterprises increased production in January-October, says national pipemakers’ association Ukrtruboprom.
Volume amounted to 581,800 tonnes, up by 30% on-year, Kallanish notes. In particular, Interpipe Niko Tube increased its pipe production in the first ten months of the year by 95.7% and Trubstal by 21.4%. However, Centravis decreased production by 5.9% and Interpipe NMPP by 30.1%
