Ukraine scrap purchases, exports rebound in February
Ukrainian mills decreased procurement of ferrous scrap in February compared with January, according to the Ukrainian association of secondary metals, UAVtormet.
Purchases were higher by 18.7% month-on-month and 53% more year-on-year to 140,400 tonnes, Kallanish notes. Domestic supply of scrap to Ukrainian enterprises increased by 15.7% on-month and by 56% on-year to 110,500t.
