Ural Steel increases sinter production, completes BF upgrade
Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ)’s Ural Steel plant has implemented new projects to increase equipment productivity in its sinter shop, the company says.
The main goal is to increase production to 240,000 tonnes/month of sinter, Kallanish notes, by replacing key equipment.
Ural Steel has also completed the major overhaul of blast furnace No.4, improving the efficiency of the BF, the enterprise says.
