US begins forged fittings investigation
The US Department of Commerce has launched dumping and subsidy trade cases against imports of forged steel fittings from Indian and South Korea, Kallanish reports.
At the behest of Bonney Forge Corporations and the United Steelworkers labour union, the department is investigating claims of 45 subsidy programs in India as well as dumping margins of 52.48-293.4%. South Korea is alleged to be dumping at a rate of 45.31-198.38%.
