US construction employment ticks up
US construction employment rose in a majority of state between March 2017 and March 2018, Kallanish learns from the Associated General Contractors of America.
Construction employment ticked up in 38 of the 50 US states on year. California led the gains with 54,400 jobs, an increase of 6.8%. Of the 12 states that lost jobs, North Dakota led with 4,300 jobs, or -14.8%.
