US DOC retains Japan nickel-plate duties
The US Department of Commerce will continue to apply its anti-dumping duties on diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated flat-rolled steel from Japan following a sunset review, Kallanish learns from the Federal Register.
The duties, originally instated in 2014, range from 45.42-77.7%.
Removal of the duties “...would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury to an industry in the United States,” the department says.
