US HRC imports hit 12-month low in May
US hot-rolled imports reached their lowest monthly level in at least the past year in May, Kallanish learns from the US Department of Commerce.
The US issued licenses for 120,494 tonnes of hot-rolled coil in May, down from April’s tally of 145, 171t and below the previous low of 124,921t set in March.
