US line pipe imports spike in July
US line pipe imports appear to have increased significantly from June to July, as the US Department of Commerce pushes forward on a six-country anti-dumping case.
July line pipe licenses totaled 194,245 tonnes, up from June's preliminary count of 145,661t. In the past 12 months, only four - including last July - exceeded July's total, Kallanish notes.
