US OCTG imports double year on year
October US oil country tubular goods imports were more than double their year-ago levels, Kallanish learns from the US Department of Commerce.
The department issued licenses for 283,211 tonnes of OCTG in October, up from 138,100t in October 2016. Licenses issued as of 22 November are also nearly double their year-ago levels, at 174,136t and 96,888t, respectively.
