US rigs fall by 18, Canada down 15
Both the US and Canadian rig counts fell by double-digits in the week ended 20 September, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by 18 to 868, down 185 from last year.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by 14, while rigs geared for gas production fell by five. The US also gained one rig classified as miscellaneous.
