US rigs fall by 3, Canada up 12
The US rig count posted a minor decrease in the week ended 6 December, while the Canadian count posted a double-digit increase, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by three net rigs to 799, down 276 from last year’s equivalent count.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by five, while rigs geared for natural gas production rose by two.
