US rigs fall by 8, Canada down 5
Both the US and Canadian rig counts fell in the week ended 1 November, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by eight net rigs to 822, down 245 from the equivalent weekly count last year.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by five, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by three.
