US rigs fall by 17, Canada down 1
The US and Canadian rig counts continued to fall in the week ended 29 May, Kallanish learns from energy services company Baker Hughes.
The US rig count fell by 17 net rigs to 301, down 683 from last year’s equivalent count.
Rigs geared for oil production fell by 15, while rigs geared for natural gas production fell by two.
