US sheet prices climb, even before latest hike
Pricing for carbon steel sheet in the US has strengthened again, with domestic mills starting to stack up price-hike announcements and showing some discipline in sticking to them, Kallanish hears from market participants.
The spot price range for hot rolled coil is up to $790-820/short ton, from last week's range of $760-810/st. Cold rolled coil prices have climbed to $1,180-1,220/st from $1,150-1,200/st the prior week.
