US slams Vietnam with circumvention tariffs
The US Department of Commerce has found preliminary evidence of duty circumvention in three cases involving Vietnamese steel exports, Kallanish learns from a department statement.
The affected products – corrosion-resistant steel and cold-rolled steel – are allegedly being produced in Korea and Taiwan and then sent to Vietnam for “... minor processing” before shipment to the US.
