US stainless surcharges rise slightly in April
US stainless surcharges appear to have ticked up for nickel-bearing grades from March to April, Kallanish learns from producer price lists.
Type 304 austenitic stainless coil surcharges have risen from about $0.32/pound to $0.33/lb. Likewise, type 316 coil surcharges rose from about $0.40/lb to $0.42/lb.
