USSK rubbishes Kosice governor purchase offer
US Steel Kosice (USSK) has rejected the offer of Kosice self-governing region president Rastislav Trnka to buy the steelmaker for €1, deeming it “…offensive.”
Last week Trnka suggested the state take control of the steelworks, as was the case with the former US Steel Serbia in 2012, in order to ensure continued operations and employment.
