USTR drops tariffs on shredder parts from China
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) has issued an order excluding high-wear parts used in automobile shredders imported from China from a 25% tariff, Kallanish reports. The shredder parts are included in exclusions granted for 21 products, which cover 348 separate exclusion requests.
The order will suspend the tariffs on iron or steel parts of metal shredders including reject doors, pin protectors, liners, front walls…
