Valin name change signals expansion ambition
Valin Iron & Steel Group, the parent company of China-listed Valin Steel and Valin Wire & Cable, has recently changed its registered name to Hunan Iron & Steel Group, Kallanish notes.
The move is "in order to improve our brand's awareness and influence, and to create a national first-class metallurgical base," Valin Steel said in an exhcange announcemnet on Friday.
