VN Steel reports lower February production
Vietnam Steel Corporation (VN Steel)’s production declined in February due to weak construction steel market demand, Kallanish notes.
The company reported saleable production lost 37% from January and was down 13% year-on-year to around 185,500 tonnes in February. This includes about 115,600t of construction steel, 46,800t of cold rolled coil and 23,000t of galvanized steel.
