Italian tube prices increase in line with HRC
Italian welded tube prices are increasing in new transactions, as southern European re-rollers are mulling further hikes due to the steep rise in European hot rolled coil values, Kallanish hears.
Tube discounts in Italy decreased by some 5 points in November, depending on producer. However, some suppliers will target to push down discounts further to 35 points in the new year. HRC values in southern Europe are reaching €660-670/tonne ($720-730) base ex-works …
