Wollongong Coal seeks coking coal mine restart
Australian coking coal miner Wollongong Coal plans to restart its Russell Vale Colliery in the Illawarra region of New South Wales (NSW), Kallanish notes from local media. Chairman Milind Kantilal Oza told the company's annual general meeting that land work continues at the plant.
Market data shows that Wollongong Coal has revised its capacity target from 4.7 million tonnes/year to 3.7m t/y, over five years.
