Zenith No.3 coke oven starts construction
Zenith Steel has begun to construct the main structure of the No.3 coke oven at its Nantong steel project. This is being carried out by China Third Metallurgical Corporation (MCC3), Kallanish notes.
The No.3 coke oven battery has a design capacity of 850,000 tonnes/year of coke, forming a combined capacity of 3.4 million t/y with another three similar coke oven batteries (see Kallanish passim).
