DOE launches Critical Materials Collaborative to foster RD&D
In its latest bid to keep critical materials accessible in the US, the Department of Energy has launched a Critical Materials Collaborative (CMC).
The initiative, which receives input from several government bodies, is designed to speed the development of domestic critical material supply chains. Critical materials-focused research, development and demonstration (RD&D) will be integral to achieving this, Kallanish notes.
