India's JBM Auto to use Jindal stainless steel for e-buses
India’s largest electric bus manufacturer JBM Auto is partnering with Jindal Stainless for the procurement of special stainless steel grade for the production of 500 e-buses, Kallanish reports.
The so-called JT Tubes product is made from low-carbon and chromium-manganese austenitic stainless steel. It has triple the strength of carbon steel, the material which is currently used to make buses.
