Saudi's Hadeed increases effective rebar price
Saudi Arabia's largest producer, Hadeed, has rolled over its August-delivery domestic ASTM A615 grade 60 (G60) 12-16mm diameter rebar, 5.5mm+ wire rod and rebar in coils prices from July each at SAR 2,350/tonne ($627).
However, it reduced the 18-32mm dia rebar price to net SAR 2,250/t and did not include it in the project discount scheme. All prices are on a credit basis and delivered within the country, Kallanish learns from market sources.
