ASEAN wire rod stabilises on raw materials support
The ASEAN wire rod import market is seeing offers stabilise on support from firm raw materials pricing, Kallanish notes.
In Manila, offers for Chinese mesh-grade 6.5mm diameter wire rod are prevailing at around $550/tonne cfr Manila. These are believed to be cargoes without full payment of Chinese VAT. Last week, offers were at around $550-555/t.
