India’s July crude steel production, consumption surge
Indian crude steel production grew 14.7% on-year to 11.51 million tonnes in July, compared with 10.04mt produced a year earlier, according to Joint Plant Committee (JPC) preliminary data seen by Kallanish.
On-month, production increased by 2.8% versus 11.2mt produced in June.
