Indian crude steel production rises amid consumption uptick
Indian crude steel production grew 12.8% on-year to 11.44 million tonnes in August, compared with 10.14mt produced a year earlier, according to Joint Plant Committee (JPC) preliminary data seen by Kallanish.
On-month, production dropped marginally, by 0.06%, versus 11.51mt produced in July.
